Drink the Art – Hannes Broecker

Now this looks interesting.

I do love the idea of art involving more senses than simply sight, it is rather boring roaming trendy galleries looking at this, looking at that, going hmmmm and ahhhh when appropriate.

Why not more art to do with touch? why not more with taste?!

Well here we are, this German lad has come up with a grand idea – an exhibition that you can drink

I’d love to try the black myself.

I don’t know, I’d be skeptical. Just because you CAN drink it doesn’t mean it would taste good. I’m sure it’s all safe to drink, but what if the artist was trying to recreate terrible tastes, like lunch-lady sweat, or pee?

Beer is going to remain the only artwork that I drink.

This reminds me of how I enjoy watching the juice containers in stores go round and round.
    It’s pretty, :)

I love this idea because the simple mystery-colors provoke thought and wonder and interest. “hmm…what is that?”

I’m assuming it tastes good. Probably mixed with some fruits, eh? But black? What’s black now?

    An innovative idea.

Cool idea to drink from art but I’m not so sure I would unless it was Vodka.
    Love the photos.
