Laura Adel Johnson

greetings windmillers

i’ve just come back from a night round town. The meal was nice but the drink afterwards I hated. Sat there feeling like a lemon thinking, why am I here! You had to shout to talk to anyone, it was noisy and very scary. I have ringing in my ear now.

anyway I’m home now and glad to be, so wanting some comfort of a place of difference I came herer to write a post.

now the lovely lady Laura Adel Johnson makes some rather pleaseing images using fairy lights

I do love how she has used the fairy lights

I like the way the lights repersent the tears

its all about using the light and I’m a big fan of light

anyway I must goto bed as I’m rather tired

These are wonderful! Up close, like on the first photo, the lights have a dreamy effect. I do love how she used the lights to have the effect of tears, and even made them more pronounced by lighting only several parts. The face parts remain unlit. These are excellent. Thanks!

Gorgeous pieces! I love this style of art – using common items to create uncommon works. I really like the scale too, big and bold, these would be beautiful as outdoor installations. thanks keep up the good work.

Why draw with pen when you can draw with lights? Perth artist, Laura Adel Johnson, illuminates her portraits with lights! Her work is currently showing at the Chalk Horse Gallery in Sydney, Australia and this multimedia artist is getting rave reviews.really very great work keep up the good work thanks for sharing with us.
