Summer is well and truely on its way, just need a little more warmth as it was today and we’ll be reet.

tried to find something summery for todays post but I got strangely attracted to a red dress, but then again with this heat the sugarbabes say its always cooler in a red dress.

Its simple and very effective red and black.

Sometimes its great to limit yourself as thats when the creative juices flow properly

I was going to say this was my favourite but the more I look at these I think I preffer the shape in the first one but I like the strong contrast on this one, super stuff.

I feel that art is in the air, like a wind but not a strong one.

I have something slightly different to present to you today, let your eyes glide over these images.

Whats happening here is that powder is being exploded, which it itself is a violent act, but the image still manages to present it in a very isolated way.

They look very lonely images. However the landscape looks dull but the powder takes a wonderous shape, creating a very brief object which will be gone within a few seconds.

I do adore this one the most. The ghostly object seems to bring the area to life but blink and you will miss it.

How is this new yeartreated you so far?

I have to say its a year of change and uncertainty. I’ve been given an  opportunity and I would be stupid not to take it. Sure it could be a risk but who knows it could be the best decision I ever make.

Now the internet has been a real trooper and provided with me some wonderful soulful images to share.

Look at that. Its like a fictional world were one of Tim Buton’s creations could live.

The scale in the pictures is huge and everything is so crystal clear.

I’ve  been through a bit of rough patch recently but I always find this place, were art is shared, makes me feels safe and warm. Like sitting infront of a log fire on a winter’s night.

I think the artist has took  the natural elements (e.g. strawberries) and has arranged into an unnatural forms creating a wonderful space .

This is the sort of art I really do appericate when visiting an gallery. The pieces are really engaging and creative.

Now the artist I present to you today does something I rather like. Sue Webster takes things we consider rubbish and arranges them in a way that doesn’t look like anything, however if you where to shine a light from the right angle you get something quite different.

I do love this kind of work, its the sort of work I enjoy most when visiting an gallery

it would taken an age to get these pieces just right, but then again if you do it alot you get faster

even thou there is nothing speical about this image I rather like it, so really there is something special to me anyway. I do like seeing things people don’t normally see, like I discover a little treasure people pass by

now this is my favourite, it might be a bit of a funky angle but the colours and the perspective of the corridor. Its almost like something you see in a film

Today I bring some 3D art for your eyes to look upon. The chaps name is henrique oliveira and he does some wonderous things with bits of wood and board

from this picture you could be mistaken that this is a rather lively painting but no…

…its make from broken bits of wood and such like, all put together to form some rather impressive wall art

I know if I walked into this gallery and saw this I would be talking about it for days to come

Anyway do you remember one of my other posts about underwater images? well I have some images to share with you which offer a different view of a pool/water.

these ones seem very personal. the water separates the person from the world, cutting out noise and creating a barrier between them and the outside.

I find these images very different from the others I posted the other day. They were quite empty and lonely where these seem to capture a moment in time. I don’t know if you get it but I feel like I can hear whats going on, not literally, but the image seems to capture both the picture and sound.

I find them quite peaceful
