Jochem Van Wetten

14/06/2008

Another treasure discovered by the glorious stumble upon button..todays treasure is provided by the most wonderful Jochem Van Wetten

A bit trendy you may say? Well yes to be fair it is a wee trendy, reminding me of my illustration degree days. But still lovely, and beyond my terrible illustration days, there is humor in these, and good humour, nice humor, not the expected student humor of ‘eat my cheese’ etc

Lovely and vintagey with a hint of chitty chitty bang bang and geekyness, lovely lovely and I would adore a very large print upon my wall.

Do have a look at the EXCELLENT site:

Have super dreams

J West - Tree

21/08/2007

tree artblogThere’s something lovely and warm about this, its simple, beautiful and totally unpretentious. I love the fact its called tree and its just a tree, maybe im rambling due to excessive coffee intake this morning, but I love this tree, sitting by herself, quietly overlooking the world. Its autumn and winter and fireplaces and hot chocolate and whisky and candles. She’s like an old friend of the family…I’m probably not making any sense at all here, but I adore this tree, i hope she’s okay and survives the cold winter…See J Wests’s galleries here:http://jwest1980.deviantart.com/art/tree-62745020
