Coffee: 2
I adore this. Apart from the expected pretentious talk of colours, shadows and chunky brushwork all I can say is that its just perfect, and a yearn for it upon my wall in a chunky frame.
I dont normally go for animals in art, but there is something about penguins, giraffes and elephants that I make an exception for.
Have a look at the full range of lovely works from RSart here:
I do hope you are have a caftastic day

Well shimmy my wednesday morning coffee. (Ive just ordered a more industrial coffee machine from amazon to manage the increased demands of late)
These paintings by Maya Kulenovic are just tip top tastic. I don’t normally like portraits, but these portraits seem to speak to me.

Gloriously dark and full of atmosphere, nightmares, are these lost souls?they all seem damaged and lost, trapped between worlds…alone, dying inside?

I simply adore them, do have a look at the artists website:

There are also some fabulous paintings of land and buildings, but its these portraits that have me captivated. I do hope you enjoy them

I adore this, I adore everything about this.
In fact i’m going to get a print of this for the cottage wall, then once again I can attempt to use nails and screws and other masculine paraphernalia.
The colour is just gorgeous, nothing too clear, people hidden in shadows..is this a dark evil burning of the windmill, or are the people trying to put it out? I cant work it out.
I love the rickety X of the sails, the central window almost looks like a wee man robot if you blur your eyes and look at those two bright eye spots

There’s something about this. Lonely, sad and quiet. An empty blue room with just a mirror. I adore its simplicity and emotion, the brush strokes are gorgeous (pretentious mode, I apologize) It fills me with something I cant quite explain, sad?, happy? All I know is I adore it and think it beautiful. Alas once more I cant find the artist, it came to me through the wonders of stumbleupon.
Voyage carefully and lookafter yourselves
