Greetings windmillers,

How is this new yeartreated you so far?

I have to say its a year of change and uncertainty. I’ve been given an opportunity and I would be stupid not to take it. Sure it could be a risk but who knows it could be the best decision I ever make.

Now the internet has been a real trooper and provided with me some wonderful soulful images to share.

Look at that. Its like a fictional world were one of Tim Buton’s creations could live.

The scale in the pictures is huge and everything is so crystal clear.

what and odd water way and the perspective is highlighted with the wooden structure running straight down the middle of the images

http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/soul-searching-landscapes-8

Hope you enjoyed them as much as I did now its time for my eyes to rest

greetings windmillers

After several long days at work I shall do a new post to keep me sane.

For todays blog I bring you some lovely work from Laurent Nivalle.

There are some wonderous photos from this artist, makes you want to pick up a camera and start capturing images

even thou there is nothing speical about this image I rather like it, so really there is something special to me anyway. I do like seeing things people don’t normally see, like I discover a little treasure people pass by

now this is my favourite, it might be a bit of a funky angle but the colours and the perspective of the corridor. Its almost like something you see in a film

There are lots of more images if you click onto here

Isnt it lovely and different? isnt it nice to not hear a bass drum, that horrible clap sound, isnt it wonderful not to hear some girl going whhhhhyhyhyhyhyhy singing every note at once, but the one required.

This is glorious and real, and we do enjoy real here at the windmill. The lads at the bbc say:

The orchestrated fairytale frescos of The Mummers are collaborative offerings of Raissa Khan-Panni and Mark Horwood.

orchestrated fairytale frescos – what a wonderful phrase

Let us now talk of their art work:

All by a wonderful this wonderful lady Samira Schulz http://www.samiraschulz.com/ you must also look at her site, lots of wonderful visual fruit.

Appologies in the lack of postings in the last few weeks dear windmiller. I’ve been rather busy moving the upstairs downstairs and then all the downstairs upstairs.

Isnt this a wonderful image. I know everybody is into all the vintageyness and old photos, a fact you may not know is that i started this trend in 2001. The colours, just wonderful. Its not perfect, its just a smile bringer, a little shimmer. Nothing to shout about, just something to rest your eyes upon, relax and enjoy
