Well the year carries on marching forward, there is no stopping time is there.

I feel that art is in the air, like a wind but not a strong one.

I have something slightly different to present to you today, let your eyes glide over these images.

Whats happening here is that powder is being exploded, which it itself is a violent act, but the image still manages to present it in a very isolated way.

They look very lonely images. However the landscape looks dull but the powder takes a wonderous shape, creating a very brief object which will be gone within a few seconds.

I do adore this one the most. The ghostly object seems to bring the area to life but blink and you will miss it.

http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/controlled-chaos-5-photos

Hope you enjoyed that and would love to see more powder images in the future

Greetings windmillers,

How is this new yeartreated you so far?

I have to say its a year of change and uncertainty. I’ve been given an opportunity and I would be stupid not to take it. Sure it could be a risk but who knows it could be the best decision I ever make.

Now the internet has been a real trooper and provided with me some wonderful soulful images to share.

Look at that. Its like a fictional world were one of Tim Buton’s creations could live.

The scale in the pictures is huge and everything is so crystal clear.

what and odd water way and the perspective is highlighted with the wooden structure running straight down the middle of the images

http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/soul-searching-landscapes-8

Hope you enjoyed them as much as I did now its time for my eyes to rest

I’ve been through a bit of rough patch recently but I always find this place, were art is shared, makes me feels safe and warm. Like sitting infront of a log fire on a winter’s night.

Today I bring something a bit odd and yet colourful

I think the artist has took the natural elements (e.g. strawberries) and has arranged into an unnatural forms creating a wonderful space .

This is the sort of art I really do appericate when visiting an gallery. The pieces are really engaging and creative.

Our wonderful piano man returns with a new music wonder – ‘Night Book’ He’s also doing a tour if you fancy leaving your house.

Here is a youtube sample a thon:

Some of those words you like:

This nightbook is supposed to show the transition between light and darkness, the known and the unknown.

Expressive and with a more open compositional structure, sonic colours are created through the close blending of the piano with the strings and percussion, and from the use of electronics which amplifies the sound of the piano, projecting it like a shadow in all directions.

The project grew out of the ideas and musical sketches that Einaudi jotted down in a notebook whilst on tour around the world. Einaudi describes the project as A night-time landscape. A garden faintly visible under the dull glow of the night sky. A few stars dotting the darkness above, shadows of the trees all around. Light shining from a window behind me. What I can see is familiar, but it seems alien at the same time. Its like a dream—anything may happen.

Out at the end of October, so get queuing outside your fav record seller

well its saturday once more and I sit here with my cup of tea and typing away. Sounds nice but if it wasn’t for the muscle in my back and my sore toe i would be happy

Now the artist I present to you today does something I rather like. Sue Webster takes things we consider rubbish and arranges them in a way that doesn’t look like anything, however if you where to shine a light from the right angle you get something quite different.

I do love this kind of work, its the sort of work I enjoy most when visiting an gallery

it would taken an age to get these pieces just right, but then again if you do it alot you get faster

this is my favourite, theres even seagulls!

After several long days at work I shall do a new post to keep me sane.

For todays blog I bring you some lovely work from Laurent Nivalle.

There are some wonderous photos from this artist, makes you want to pick up a camera and start capturing images

even thou there is nothing speical about this image I rather like it, so really there is something special to me anyway. I do like seeing things people don’t normally see, like I discover a little treasure people pass by

now this is my favourite, it might be a bit of a funky angle but the colours and the perspective of the corridor. Its almost like something you see in a film

There are lots of more images if you click onto here

i’ve just come back from a night round town. The meal was nice but the drink afterwards I hated. Sat there feeling like a lemon thinking, why am I here! You had to shout to talk to anyone, it was noisy and very scary. I have ringing in my ear now.

anyway I’m home now and glad to be, so wanting some comfort of a place of difference I came herer to write a post.

I do love how she has used the fairy lights

I like the way the lights repersent the tears
