These are lovely, nice and quiet and soothing for the mind, yet with something not quite right….a sinister dark shadow, some eerie type of thought that my tired brain cant quite get across with these words we all insist on using…

Appologies in the lack of postings in the last few weeks dear windmiller. I’ve been rather busy moving the upstairs downstairs and then all the downstairs upstairs.

Isnt this a wonderful image. I know everybody is into all the vintageyness and old photos, a fact you may not know is that i started this trend in 2001. The colours, just wonderful. Its not perfect, its just a smile bringer, a little shimmer. Nothing to shout about, just something to rest your eyes upon, relax and enjoy

Hello lovelies.

Ive acquired a puppy, he be named Harry and refuses to be alone for more than 2 seconds. He enjoys pooing on anything he can. Im beginning his training to become my loyal companion and warrior against evil. – He is yet to master the art of getting my morning newspaper.

Isn’t this chap wonderful!? I do adore nice surreal type things, and that wonderful olde worldey feel. Art that is actualy interesting to look at, weird and wonderful, safe but still with that wonderful adams family type of darkness

The above is my total favourite, such yummyness, when I doodle it always seems to end up as clouds with legs or arms or with top hats on – I adore clouds ever so.

Well shimmy my wednesday morning coffee. (Ive just ordered a more industrial coffee machine from amazon to manage the increased demands of late)

These paintings by Maya Kulenovic are just tip top tastic. I don’t normally like portraits, but these portraits seem to speak to me.

Gloriously dark and full of atmosphere, nightmares, are these lost souls?they all seem damaged and lost, trapped between worlds…alone, dying inside?
