I must say, I did enjoy that berlin song from the perivous post. It was music you could drift away and melt.

Anyway do you remember one of my other posts about underwater images? well I have some images to share with you which offer a different view of a pool/water.

these ones seem very personal. the water separates the person from the world, cutting out noise and creating a barrier between them and the outside.

I find these images very different from the others I posted the other day. They were quite empty and lonely where these seem to capture a moment in time. I don’t know if you get it but I feel like I can hear whats going on, not literally, but the image seems to capture both the picture and sound.

I find them quite peaceful

well i’ve just had my hair cut and feel smart once again and the house is tidy. Its amazing how different you feel when everything is sorted

Its a strange world underwater. You see the world from a different angle, but I’m not talking of the ocean or any other large sea mass, the images I share with you today are from a pool. Who knew what wonderous images can be found in there.

The feeling of emptyness is rather hard to avoid

the patterns created from the water are pleasing to the eye

I think this sums up most of the pictures rather well, but as the artist says

Luciana Abait-’Water is an element commonly connected with concepts of freedom and unrestraint. Swimming pools, by means of walls create boundaries and confinement.’

Only Christopher Goshington must know how much effort went into these.
- Good.

Im sick of the same old naked girl in abandoned building routine with all the 3.4 seconds of thought involved.

I adore that they are in black and white. If I actually had a budget and a client, and the time, these are EXACTLY what I would like to do.

For those who enjoy more writing:

“Over the past five years, Humphrey, 31, has established himself as one of the surf-world’s most forward-thinking photographers. Originally from Huntington Beach but now based in Bali, he’s constantly evolving his craft, using different light, experimental equipment, unique angles and the world’s best surfers as his variables. In addition, Humphrey has set a precedent in modern surf travel and documentation, partnering with Taylor Steele on trips to off-the-radar locations like Egypt and Italy. This combination of creativity and impeccable timing has enabled “D Hump” to become one of the most accomplished photographers of the 21st Century.”
